Who we are

What we collect and why

  • Order details: your name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, and what you bought. We use these to take payment, send your order, deal with returns and keep proper business records.
  • Payment details: handled by our payment providers (Shopify Payments and Klarna). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Cleaning bookings and messages: what you send through our forms or by email, so we can quote, book and reply.
  • Device and browsing data: your IP address, browser, pages viewed and how you use the site, collected with cookies. We use this to run the site, keep it secure and understand what's working.
  • Marketing: if you sign up, your email address so we can send news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Our legal reasons

We use your information to fulfil your order (contract), to meet tax and accounting rules (legal obligation), to run and improve the shop (legitimate interests) and, for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, because you agreed (consent).

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the shop: Shopify (our online store platform), payment providers, couriers such as Royal Mail, DHL, UPS and DPD, and Mailchimp for marketing emails. Some of these process data outside the UK, protected by approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also share information if the law requires it. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years to meet UK tax rules. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other messages are kept only as long as we need them.

Cookies

We use cookies that the shop needs to work, such as your basket and checkout, plus analytics and marketing cookies if you allow them. You can change your choice through the cookie banner or your browser settings. See Shopify's list of cookies for full details.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email ironsoles@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

The shop is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
